Petr Dvorak, known as Electribe, is a talented DJ and successful producer from the Czech Republic. Starting as a child music was a part of his life. Since he was very young, Petr started to take some music lessons. His parents bought him piano when he was 7 years old. In the following 8 years he improved very quickly with the basics for playing on a piano as an instrument.
Petr has always showed an interest for electronic dance music, especially for melodic, euphoric and uplifting trance. In his teens he became involved in the club scene, fell in love with trance music and began DJing in small local clubs. His mixes are well known for its rare and sophisticated tracks. Energetic uplifting & progressive trance, often with vocals - this is music you can expect in Petr's mixes, which he is able to variegate together with a LIVE performance on a synthesizer. Beside playing, he started working with electronic sound, experimenting in different styles and genres late in the summer of 2006, with no intention of making music, only with 8 years of playing on piano. However, each next work showed that trance music is the genre he could find himself in.
It motivated him to work on improvement of his sound, so he devoted a number of years to learning the basics of sound engineering and digital mastering. He was introduced to arranging and composing of music mostly by himself or in parallel, watching the works of the new wave trance and progressive producers such as Alex Morph, Armin van Buuren, Pedro Del Mar, Ferry Corsten, Leon Bolier, Tiesto, Michael Burian, Sean Tyas, Aly & Fila, Tom Colontonio and many others...
Nowadays, Petr is fully applying oneself as a producer and remixer of the music containing progressive, trance and electro sound. His career started in 2009 after almost 3 years of experimenting he signed his first official tracks "Trancemigration" and "Space Tour", which were immediately recognized and supported by several DJ..s and producers such as Pedro del Mar (Mellomania), Jorn Van Deynhoven (Spotlight), Claudia Cazacu (Haute Couture), Angel Ace (Innerstate), Ben Nicky, Sasha da Link / Ingsha, Tom Colontonio, Suzy Solar, Karybde & Scyla, Mark Andréz, Maria Mashkova and many more. Next success put in an appearance early, when Petr won a remix contest for Roger Shah forthcoming track "Darling Harbour", which is going to be released soon on one of the biggest label Magic Island / Armada.
Petr is always glad to meet new acquaintances and collaborators. His further ambition is to get into the subconsciousness of the Czech or foreign listeners and most of all to work hard and improve his production so that he can convey the best of his work and feeling to all the people. Petr Dvorak, aka Electribe, is a new and fresh producer who is now ready to rock the club scene with his own production.
