About Electric Allstars

ELECTRIC ALLSTARS BIOGRAPHY 'Electric Allstars' is producer Steve Pickering. Steve first started producing under the name 'Ninth Planet' and his first record was signed and released by 'Amato International' in 1998. It gained the support of various big DJ's including Brandon Block and received regular airplay on Kiss FM. This lead to recording in 'Crosstrax Studios' and the introduction to Julian Napolitano (Soul Seekers) who signed and released another Ninth Planet track titled 'The Rocket'.

After various other bootlegs and releases Steve created a new track sampling Go West's 'We Close Our Eyes'. He played it to his local record shop owner Kev Keane and the Partnership 'GrooveCutters' was formed. The track received support from Judge Jules and Steve Smart (Kiss), Justin Wilkes (Capital), Galaxy and various other dance stations and was quickly snapped up by Nebula Records who turned the track into a commercial monster which after topping club and video charts hit number 33 in the UK top 40! GrooveCutters went on to remix for Melanie C's next two singles as well as for Ministry of Sound and various other artists. These remixes appeared on some of the biggest compilations including the infamous 'Clubbers Guide'. These productions and remixes were backed up with regular DJ sets at the likes of Pacha (London) and various other high profile bars and clubs. The duo eventually split on 2006 and Steve went on to remix for Melanie C under the guise of So-Lo.

Electric Allstars followed shortly after. Created to follow a more commercial sound, remix work quickly started to flow in with numerous mixes for 'Liberty City' and once Steve had developed his new sound he created his first original track under Electric Allstars with vocalist Mia J and writer Daniel Sherman. The track was then picked up by Oxyd and Nervous Records. It has since climbed to number 9 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Charts receiving massive support from dance stations in the U.S. and also appears on many compilations including the new Fierce Angels 'Fierce Disco 3'. The name Electric Allstars has gone from strength to strength and regularly appears on the popular DJ promo CD's. Steve's remix of Boogie Pimps ft Steve Brookstein has now been released on Clubland Records and appears on the new 'Clubland 3' compilation in Germany. Clubland have also just signed his new track Grooversplitters ft Shena 'Got To Be Real'. Shena has vocalled some of the biggest dance tracks in recent years including Michael Grays 'The Weekend', Junior Jacks 'Stupid Disco' Jupiter Aces '1000 Years' and most recently Alex Gaudino's smash hit 'Watch Out'.

Steve has now set up his new label 'Amore Records' to use as a tool for promoting future productions and is looking forward to many more successful productions and remixes. Watch this space......
