Sounds Like
A cacographical palimpsest in braille, transliterated into soundwaves by a monastary of autistic Buddhist monks that cannot stop themselves imagining slow, desperate footfalls in the hallways of abattoirs.
The sound of an alien cat that would deceive you to believe it was in an act of indecency. The cacophenous click-clack of an antique typewriter. The looping oddity of a hardware filter self-resonating. The pure, blissful sound of the girl one calls best friend giggling. Staccato humming and a microphone placed directly on the heartbeat. Poignant recordings of voicemails left by those leaving ones life. Poorly mic'ed lofi piano pieces written by long lost friends.
These are the samples that ebr starts from.
Add some glitchy rhthym and moaning melodies in minor keys, shake vigorously, and dream with it stuffed under the pillow.
The name electric brain reserve came from a dream his mother had. She awoke from the dream and told him if he named his band "electric brain ____ " he would succeed and be famous. He promptly forgot what the third word was, and so did she, but he thinks he may have the right one.
NOTE: As much as I may appreciate the thought, if you misspell the name of one of my tracks in a comment below, I will not approve the comment. I'm anal like that.
