This Latin Jazz band is fronted by internationally acclaimed vocalist Sally Doherty, who, aswell as being a song-writer (see SALLY DOHERTY page) has a life-long passion for Jazz and for Brazilian, Mexican and Cuban music. They have released two albums, 'Second Time Around' and 'Foolish Heart'. With Piero Tucci on piano and accordion, Colin Elliot on double bass and Phil Johnson on drums; the playing is just excellent. Guest musicians include Shez Sheridan on Spanish Guitar, Liz Hanks ..o, Donald Grant on violin along with Red Skies String ensemble.
The songs slip effortlessly from gentle Ballads to Brazilian Bossa Nova and Samba, then from Swing to Mexican and Cuban Boleros with stunning performances throughout. Sally’s beautiful singing slides seamlessly between English, Portuguese and Spanish.
