The Electric Chair is a mandolin-guitar band that is based in Tokyo, Japan.
The band was formed in 1994.
A professional composer, Masahiko Naito, composes all of our repertories. We perform a variety of music such as complicated and consisted of ad lib, which requires all of us to take the solo part.
We have various repertoires such as replica of swing jazz, blues, tango (it is said that mandolin might become a main instrument on these genres!). More over we have other repertories that are intimate or enjoyable pieces and pieces with a little trial.
Attended "eurofestival zupfmusik 2006" held in Bamberg, Germany.
