About me:
Electric City is Lackawanna County's free alternative weekly newspaper, published every Thursday from its homebase in Scranton, PA.
Locally owned and written by local writers, E.C. provides a comprehensive guide to the area's thriving arts & entertainment scene, and has become an integral component in the revitalization of Scranton (aka the "Electric City").
In bringing back the pride, E.C. has become the authority on local arts & entertainment. But it's not just music, movies, art, comedy, and gossip ... it's pressing issues and trends the other papers are afraid to touch.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that we're the only local paper with our own in-house film critic, gossip columnist, and cartoonist, either.
