Art Nouveau, Art deco, Renaissance, Pre-Raphaelite, graphic design, music, movies, dressing up in all types of clothes, fine food, champagne, history, science, games, fluff and more fluff, Lego, fairies, toys
Music
Wow... what does one say to that? The list is endless...mmmmmm...
...well classical, folk, 60's rockabilly through to 70's prog. radiohead, muse, sufjan stevens, rufus wainwright to name but a few modern artists. I guess everything from the outright strange, tripped out and unusual, straight to the hard, loud and rocking
Movies
Two of our clan went to film school and so pretty much any film going (they’ll both bore you silly with their knowledge of movies) but especially anything by the Cohen Brothers, Jim Jarmusch and Wes Anderson.
Television
70's comedy - 'Fawlty Towers' 'The Good Life' etc. Modern Comedy - 'Spaced' 'Black Books' 'Father Ted'
24 - amazing! Doctor Who - so addicted! History Channel - the edwardians invented marmite :) and for crap addictive TV America's Next Top Model' and 'The X-factor'
Books
Too many to mention... but recent favourites include 'Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell', 'The Dumas Club', 'Northern Lights'The amazing adventures of Kavalier and Clay' and any comic by Neil Gaiman and the great Alan Moore.

Here at Electric Gypsy, we are in our third twirling year providing all you cool katz with an array of funky, retro and vintage clothes. With the help of our merry leprechauns - and we have many - you can get your hands on a fine variety of merchandise, including flared trousers, western shirts, outrageously beautiful dresses, military jackets, cowboy boots, flower-power skirts and an array of funky jewellery and accessories.
Don’t believe us... just ask one of our friends, fashion photographer Andy Chapman... "err.. wha..?? I highly endorse this product or company!"
Thank you Andy Chapman, he's not bright, but he does take a good picture and he's very, very handsome!
Our clothes are specially flown in by our overseas leprechauns and hobgoblins who source only the best available items from all over the world including the USA and southern Europe. Most of our stock is from the flower power, space rocket era of 1960s, straight through to the shoulder pad wearing, miner striking days of Maggie Thatcher - the 1980s, is she still alive? Mmm... damn it! However it doesn’t end there you crazy kids, our master and overlord, produces her own limited line of crazy handmade gear, converted skirts, dresses, reproductions, you name it... lovingly put together by our little furry fabric elves, who often use reclaimed or recycled vintage fabrics.

Who I'd like to meet:
Electric Gypsy started its psychedelic voyage in the summer of 2003 and was pulled together by a group of artists and designers wanting to re-create that 60’s London Carnaby street lifestyle, taking influence from fantastic shops such as Biba and Granny Takes a Trip.
We still all love what we do and enjoy sharing a love for dressing up with everyone we meet. So who do we want to meet?...really anyone Artistically minded, Mad caps, musicians, writers, anyone interesting right down to you the most important person...In fact everyone in the world. just come and say hello to us and have a cup of tea as well!

This way everyone can see what everyone else thinks. Thats judging they still have the balls to express their opinions publically ;-)
