Electric Mayhem is a Funk/Rock Band that has been bringing the party to Ct. since the late '90s. Recently voted "Best Funk Band" in the 2007 & 2008 Fairfield County Weekly Grand Band Slam readers poll, Electric Mayhem plays dance party covers & solid original compositions. Featuring a three piece horn section , keys, guitar and a rock solid rhythm section, the Mayhem sound is not to be denied. With the band laying down the groove for the dynamic vocals of Suzanne Vick the Mayhem brand of funk will bring you to feet! With new twists to old favorites and an expanding catalogue of songs the band trys to bring a fresh vibe to all it's shows.
The members of Electric Mayhem bring regional, national and international experience to the stage.
Vocalist Suzanne Vick attanded Berklee School of Music and Emerson College and has a degree in communications. She hosts a local radio program and also teaches voice. Other members of the band have toured nationally and internationally along with backing legends of Motown and recording with both regional and international talent.
Electric Mayhem has shared the stage with George Clinton & P-Funk, The Allman Bros. Band, Tower of Power, Maceo Parker, The Jerry Garcia Band, The Wailers, Galactica, Moe, Deep Fried, The Bomb Squad, The Breakfast, Shakedown and many others. The band has played venues such as The Dodge Music Center, Toads Place, The Webster Theater, The Gathering of the Vibes, Black Rock Day, The Hat City Music Festival, The Puppet House Theater, The Secret Forest Festival, Spinstock and your favorite local bars such as Daniel Street, Acoustic Cafe, Two Boots, The Main Pub, Jimmie's Seaside Tavern, Marios, The Monkey Bar, Oxford Ale House, Martinis, City Ale House, Ray Kellys, The Lodge, and Porters Tap Room; among others.
