The Electric Mountain Rotten Apple Gang is a Texas Bred, Hardrivin', Thrashgrass combo inspired into existence by the traditional sounds of Bluegrass, Mountain String and Klezmer Bands of the past and present. "The Gang" is a high energy stage act that owns up the the claim "we are half horse, half alligator and 100% Texas tornado" and a ripstavin' good time for young and old alike, with just enough tradition to keep granny happy and enough raucous, riotous, revelry for the young'ns to chew on.
........................................................................................................................First formed in April of 2005 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of north Texas{ where they won best folk acoustic act in 2007}, by Brothers Adam and Darrin Kobetich. "the Gang" has been hammering out it's own brand traditionalist inspired music, even mixing a bit of Eastern Europe with the Grass.
