A Circle
Josh Bucci has made music under many monikers over the last 15 years including Lightfalll, BONG, The Phain, Pretty Fangs and now Electric Organic. Explorations of folk, indie rock, and electonica abound. Lyrical as well as musical moods, spaces, and pallets are delt with in elegant style and good grace. If you get a chance to see Josh as Electric Organic don't miss out. Both the more experimental, spacey electric sets and the pastoral acoustic country-blues-ish folk leave fans with heart felt performances and minds open to the world of possiblitys in americana music. DIY solo releases by Josh Bucci include:
Tank Daze 96, Void, Vast, Love Noir, and Dwelling Wheels 1.
Band recordings include: BONG "Peel Back Down" and "So Far" and The Phain's self titled sizzler. Check out www.soundclick/joshbucci.com for singles and the entire album "Void". Order "Void" and "Panda Mix tape Vol. 2" at Krecs.com 'friends & neighbors' section.

Electric Organic
Post Folk
Like a locally-grown answer to Neil Young, guitarist/songwriter Josh Bucci sets his sights on melodic beauty and goes after his target with total guts. His doggedness in following his muse whether he lands in pitch or not is what makes his work so convincing, vulnerable, and real. Bucci also makes due with whatever instruments and band members are available for gigs. At times, he'll present Electric Organic solo on acoustic or electric guitar or accompanied by an electronic beat-making device. If there's a piano or keyboard around, he might give that a whirl too. At others (like this show), Electric Organic becomes a three-piece. (Bucci actually keeps two lineups on deck.) An avowed disciple of Jerry Garcia, it's no surprise that Bucci also favors the haphazard serendipity of musique concrete, as his playing comes as close to approximating random, everyday sound as it can while still having form and hooks.
