Electric Spasm: uncontrollable sparks of pleasure coursing through the body as a reaction to total surrender to bliss.
Electric Spasm is the musical combustion that occurred as a result of joining of three musicians from Casablanca. Frontman Otman, the elder of the three has known success, primarily in Spain with his previous band, After Prozac, before which he was involved in a solo project dubbed Cue. Upon returning to Casablanca after almost a decade in Spain, Otman wasted no time, and held auditions for new bandmates. Through the process, he met guitarist and contributing composer, Taha, as well as drum prodigy Ismael, both of whom were involved in musical project, Rustic Voice. Youssef, a chilhood friend of Otman joined the band as the killer bassist.
Electric Spasm brings a sound unlike any other onto the Casablanca musical scene, which is mostly dominated by Metal , Hip Hop or Fusion music. The band’s style is a medley of melodic and powerful sounds, giving them a unique style previously unheard of. The band has produced four Spanish-language singles, and is currently working on several songs in English. Electric Spasm will be releasing their long-awaited debut album, Born, in a few months, and will be performing in upcoming shows.

Hola! Que tal?? acabamos de estrenar nuestro E.P. se llama “Underwater Meetings” y si entras en el myspace sabreis porque... Lo hemos grabado con el productor berlinés Uwe Hoffman (Die Ärzte, Killer Barbies) y con Mark Dasoussa (Pildora X). También hemos renovado el myspace, y colgado un nuevo videoclip.
