    Electric Sunroof are and have been Roger Hughes - guitar/vox, Chris Ryan - Guitar/bcking vox, Vinit Malhotra - Bass, Henry Griffiths - Bass; Tommy Bell Hughes - Drums/samples.

  • Influences

    Many and varied. Mostly indi rock and traditional rock influences i would say for most of the band members. especially with the likes of Ffloyd, Zepelin, the Who, The Doors, ACDC, classic time old inspirations being of particular direct influences on some. And whilst it may not sound that way then other influences can come from more folky, and pop influences such as Simon & Garfunkel, ABBA, The Beatles (wouldnt be right to not mention them as an influence now would it). And to more recent times then perhaps, Nirvana, Blur, The Killers, Prince, The Pixies, Elbow, Doves. all good stuff and all sinks in there somewhere i think, and comes out a bit different. And personal favourites at the moment Kings of Leon.

  • Sounds Like

    There was a fish once you know, yep that's right a fish, a great big fish, and no it didn't have fingers like the adverts say, (however have thought of that, that perhaps the reason fish don't have fingers is coz bird's eye farmed them all off or perhaps there is a breed of fish that have finger's which bird's eye don't let anyone know about or worse still bird's eye are at the forefront of genetic engineering and have been for years and again have conspired to keep it quiet for the sake of marketing purposes. Now porpoise fingers there would be a thing, perhaps when there are no fish with fingers left that's what they'll move onto, but in the meantime...) it had wings and it flew off to Barbados 'cos that's where it's gran used to live. After a while in Barbados the fish thought to itself, 'my gran doesn't live here anymore' and following a short spell where he tried to make it as a musician and get his new hit record, 'my gran doesn't live here anymore', into the main stream media, it got in at number 37 in the Barbados independant charts, nu-fusion funk not being their thing. he decided to move on and take his song writing talent with him. however he didn't get very far cos he was caught (by bird's eye) and made into a fish finger. ahh he thought as he approached the shredder, that's how they do i....shdhowelfeweuugh! Anyway the moral of this story is quite obvious and doesn't need to be explained again so i'll leave it there. thanks very much for your time and if you have any more queries please don't hesi.....sdspodvwe,cnuiuughh!
