Woden Thoth - electric bass, electric mandolin, chaos factor creation, occasional analog synthesizer and/or electric guitar, non-programmable drummachine.
Red Eyed Coyote - nearly all electric guitars, electric violin, humor and general youthfulness.
Pinki Li - hand-played electronic percussion (no programming), keyboards.
Influences
Frank Zappa, Faust, Gong, Amon Duul, System Of A Down, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Amon Duul, Ravikiran, Raga-Ragini, South Indian classical music in general, Wilco, Eno, Gentle Giant, Dead Kennedys, MC5, Robert Fripp, Johnny Cash, Pink Jimi Photon, Dick Dale, most heavy metal bands we've ever heard, Beethoven, Sibelius, Captain Beefheart, Black Flag, Yes, Sparks, Frappe Dreamgate, GBH, MDC, Anthrax, the Beatles (who isn't influenced by them?), Can, James Brown, jazz, Jesus, Yahweh, taoism, christianity, our parents, Albert Hoffman (so to speak), Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali, not to mention Vincent van Gogh (pronounced properly) and Connick and Hunger Force, and on and on and on and on, including anyone and anything that we have ever encountered.
Sounds Like
You tell me - I don't really know - I guess mostly like Faust, FZ, Amon Duul and Jimi Hendrix all mixed together, heightened with espresso (italian or spanish), and vivified by anarchism.
Electric Tiger formed when Woden Thoth (electric bass guitar, electric mandolin) asked Red Eyed Coyote (electric guitar) to jam and recruited Pinki Li (electronic percussion, keyboard) to play unscripted mostly uncomposed music into a recorder. The tiger awoke, full of electricity and vehemence. More samples are available at www.electrictigrrr.com and also on our CdBaby pages:
