With each member of the Electric Veltens able to play multiple instruments, the group often puts a unique grouping of sounds together to form one song. Heavily influenced by the likes of the Beach Boys, New Pornographers, and other pop-powerhouses, the sound and purpose of the Electric Veltens is for the audience to share in the fun that is behind the music, through the music.
The Electric Veltens first release 'the Pig Mail Alien EP' came out in April 2009. Following a hefty amount of touring and shows, the Veltens have gone on a brief break to write and record some new tunes. We'll be back at it in March 2009.
So keep an ear out for new songs and an eye out for shows near you to support the Electric Veltens!
