artina was born in Lima-Peru and was raised in Valencia-Venezuela. During college she realized that she had a passion for music that she could not control. Her and her friends formed a band. They recorded their first CD in the 90’s and enjoyed great success in Venezuela. They were revolutionary to a new style of music – Electronic Music. Although they were one of the first bands in Venezuela to produce electronic music Martina was not involved in that aspect of production. She was busy playing her acoustic guitar, beating on her drums, singing, and writing beautiful songs. When she was recording with her band Electrodemencia did not exist……. Years later in America…….her passion for music grew even stronger. But now with no band or money to make her music she started to experiment with different programs on her computer. She started with Sonar and Reason, spending night and day trying to perfect her sound, trying to create beats that made your body move and your mind sweat with anticipation. Without having any formal training this was not an easy task. With only her computer and keyboard to inspire her musical passion and destiny, Electrodemencia was born…… Two people with only one body and very different styles. Martina creates acoustic music in Spanish her native language. Electrodemencia composes music that reaches all people of the world regardless of what language they speak. The beats, rhythms and melodies have a unique language of their own...

Helo, electrodemencia. I hope things are going well. I’m here to present you a new ethnical remix (called "Testamento Da Árbore") with influences of house music produced for the folk band “Coanhadeira”. Real instruments like bagpipes, acoustic guitars and other classical sounds played by the band are included. The track is sung in "gallego", a particlar languaje similar to Portuguesse that's spoken where me and this band are living.
