Juan Sorrentino (1978 Resistencia, Chaco) artista sonoro, profesor y coordinador de los sellos id-Discos y New Folder. Estudió la carrera de Licenciatura en Composición Musical en la UNC. Fue becado para perfeccionarse en la Universidad de Georgia-Athens, Seattle-Washington, Bourges-Francia y LIEM CDMC del Reina Sofía-Madrid. Recibió numerosos premios internacionales y nacionales (Unesco, Price of Bourges, FNA, MAC Bahía Blanca, UNQ, Min. de Cultural de España Reina Sofía entre otros). Ha realizado muestras individuales y colectivas en Metronom (BCN), Circulo de Bellas Artes (MAD), MARCO (Vigo), Nau Coclea (Girona), MAC Bahía Blanca, CCEC, CCEBA, M. Caraffa, M. Genaro Pérez, Galería 39/30 (COL), Teatro San Martín (Bs. As) entre otras. Ha realizado 7 gira internacionales junto a Pepe Marriot por México (06), España (06), España-Francia (05), Republica Checa-Alemania-España (04), Colombia (04) Francia y España (03-04), España (01). Algunas de sus obras sonoras pertenecen a la colección del MAC, M. Caraffa y Fundación ONCE España. Actualmente reside, estudia y trabaja en Córdoba ARG

Ses travaux ont été édités sous différents formats sur des labels comme Prominance Recordings (grèce), Sinergy network net label (barcelone) , Miniaturas electroacusticas (seville) , Aerodiscos (buenos aires) , Industria Domestica (cordoba ), etc
Il a réalisé de nombreuses tournées internationales, a participé a de nombreux festivals , clubs , musées et centres culturels en Espagne , République Tchèque , Allemagne et France.
Sur ces divers événements , il a partagé la scène avec dimportants artistes et groupes comme Pepe Marriot (argentina) Leafcutter John (uk), Chello Scotti (Allemagne) , Waggon cookin (Espagne), Federico molinari (Allemagne) etc

Juan Sorrentino ( b. 1978, Resistencia, CHACO ) lives and composes in Cordoba, currently pursuing a undergraduate in composition at the University of Cordoba, coordinator of music and multimedia label "Industria Domestica Discos".
He plays Violoncello, keyboard and guitar. He was a staff member at the Young Symphony Orchestra of Cordoba for two years.-
He creates electronic, acoustic, and multimedia concert works and installations. His works have been presented in diverse venues in South America, United States and Europe, including the Bourges Synthese Festival, Argentinean Electroacoustic Music Festival, University of Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and the University of Georgia Athens ( Black Box Concert ) etc . He has been the recipient of numerous awards, mentions and prizes including those from the UNESCO-Aschberg, LIPM-Centro Cultural Recoleta , Residence prize of Bourges, Experimental Music Goethe Institute of Cordoba, SIART Bolivia and Fondo Nacional de las Artes . He was given a scholarship from the Secretary of Culture of Chaco to study in the University of Georgia, Athens. He has taken classes with Richard Karpen and Juan Pampin in the residence of the University of Washington, Seattle.-
