By popular request for a reliable non-commercial platform for regional
artists from Steyr, Linz, Wels and Vöcklabruck in Upper Austria,
Christoph Elmer decided to establish the label elmart (electronic music
art) in 2005. His basic idea was that the austrian style of making music
should become the central feature of elmart.
In 2007 Joaquin Phunk and Mike Absolom entered the label to form the
second label HouseArt.
In 2008 the talents Mike Turrento and JD Smith signed elmart.
These musicans are going to produce & distribute music to conquer the
music market.
With the creativity of Austrian artists we try to avoid becoming just
one nameless part of the mass, we want to reshuffle the music market
and give young ambitious musicans the chance to release their tracks.

Starting from the 24th of November 2009 Tom Barkley and Joaquin Phunk's follow-up single is available on several online platforms.
