I'm a singer, guitarist and producer of electronic music and create music with a unique mix of styles. From straightforward electronic dance music to hard edged electro-rock to harmony laden vocal pieces. For me, it's whatever works.
* 'Night Begins' (2007) was my entry into the world of electronica and consists largely of dance tracks with some minimalist vocals.
* 'Neural Miss Connections' (2008) sees me injecting heavy guitar and vocals into songs with ambient and trance elements.
* My next release (mid 2010) is under construction. The beats will be more organic, the vocals more harmonious and the keyboards more prominent and lush while still maintaining a slightly hard edge.
* I also create songs with musicians from around the world at Kompoz.com to keep the ideas flowing. The lighter of those songs are here and the heavier ones are at my other myspace page for rock and metal. (See Friend 1 below)
My released material is available for purchase at my publishing website, WPS Music (ASCAP).
Thanks for choosing to spend a moment of your valuable time listening to my tunes and I always appreciate ANY comments you may have. Cheers - Mike
Thank you for connecting! If you're interested, I'm offering one free original MP3 download to my new MySpace friends, just let me know the name of which track would you like to get and I'll tell you where to download it for free. Keep in touch!
Hope you are keeping well. There is a definite feel of Marillion (Steve Hogarth) in the vocals listening again which is a definite compliment. Keep recording. Richard-M
Mike, thank you for not only listening but taking the time to support our efforts. It means everything to hear feedback such as yours! Salience is coming later this year to MySpace and Itunes.
The long wait is over! The Attic Trax debut album “Where what where” is now out on CD baby and iTunes.
Take a generous portion of Lemon Jelly and Blue States. Add a bit of Zero 7, Air and UNKLE. Finish with a sprinkling of The Cinematic Orchestra and what have you got? Attic Trax‘s debut Album “Where what where?”.
A big thank you to those that appreciate the above acts for your really supportive comments. Much appreciated. Try out the new tunes on our site.
Thanks very much for the compliments. Right now, I'm already working with a vocalist on these songs. I am however always looking for new people to work with...do you have any samples of you singing something similar to "Rumor's out"? I'd love to hear some good rock samples. Just let me know. Thanks!
Mike Ousey, Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. How beautiful is the snowshine in your eyes, so directly current from the static in your mind. I keep searching for you between the cushions. Your beauty is multiplexed in contemplation of your multidimensional effervescence. You breath as delicately as vapors flowing towards an attractive flame. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. The stickers hugging the fruit smell better than the perfume of ambergris.
