No! We did not!
elefants are not misspelled, they are a band.
One of those bands that are hard to google but easy to dance to.
The name: german Elefant meets english plural "s".
The music: knows neither borders nor proper spelling.
But then again what genre of music does? Country music that is true.
But elefants are not a country band.
They play that kind of music that refers to itself as "new new wave".
This wave feeds of the energy that bands like The Who, The Clash and
The Libertines have
put into it (unknowingly of the consequences it seems).
Huge as it has gotten, filled with bands like Franz
Ferdinand, Bloc Party, The Rakes, Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes, it
seems as if it is breaking over the elefants.
But no worries. They are thick skinned.
They might not be surfing yet but they are full of energy.
They have not been flushed away - they will flush you away if you dare
come near them.
So did we mean elephants?

Wir von „the Age of Sound“ spielen zum Gedenken an diese ewige Generationenlüge ein Konzert am 17.12.09 im Kir in Hamburg. Mit dabei sind die fantastischen „Knights“ sowie „Fuck Art, Let’s Dance“. Eintritt ist ab 20:00 Uhr und kostet 6 Euro. Frohes Fest!

Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.

Am kommenden Mittwoch, 9.12., spielen wir gemeinsam mit der unglaublich guten Kieler Band Staring Girl und dem sympathischen Alleinunterhalter Fred Adrett im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe Frequenz73 im Haus 73 auf dem Schulterblatt.
Anfang ist pünktlich um 20.30 Uhr, da bereits um 22.30 Uhr schon wieder Schluss sein muss. Im Anschluss trinken wir dann ein Bier.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
