About Chris
Chris has been DJing for 10 years. He started off like many other DJ’s have, with a basic set up of 2 x belt drive turntable and a 2 channel mixer.
Chris started his DJ career playing a wide range of music and would play anything from soulful house, garage, hard dance and trance.
These wide ranges of music led Chris to his first regular gig. Although only in his home town of Royston, Hertfordshire, he gained a weekly Friday night at Royton’s only nightclub Fat Jaxx.
His spell at Fat Jaxx was short lived but as one door closed another opened and Chris became the Saturday night resident at Coco’s (formerly Toxic8) in Cambridge.
For 3 years Chris played a 3 hour set for every week playing funky house warming the crowd up ready for the main DJ who took over at midnight.
Like all good things this Saturday residency came to an end but during the 3 years Chris did get to play in London, Maidstone and Norwich which, for an 20 yr old lad gave him some valuable experience.
Chris took a step back from DJing for about a year in 2003 and used this time to find himself a new “dirty” sound.
What Chris is doing now?
During Chris’s year break from DJing he started exploring the deeper side of house music. The styles he explored included Tribal, Tech, Minimal, Electro, Progressive and Techno.
After a year of exploring and experimenting with different styles Chris has settled on playing deep techy house with a hint of techno.
At the end of 2006 Chris set up a night called Elektrotherapy.
During 2007 Chris continued to run his night in Cambridge at different venues but was still not able to secure a monthly residency with it.
Towards the end of 2007 Chris was offered a weekly Friday night residency at Nusha, Cambridge, which he is still doing to date.
2008 has started off very busy for Chris. Still playing his weekly Friday night at Nusha, He has also secured a monthly Saturday under the Elektrotherapy brand. Also more recently Chris has turned his hand to music production and has been working on a few remix projects as well as his own material and working with his studio partner Nick Frattaroli.
Plans for future
“I will be putting a lot more time and effort in to music production this year and would like to release some material towards the end of 2008.
I will continue to run the Elektrotherapy night in Cambridge, but will look at moving the night in to London as this has bigger possibilities for the night to evolve.”

About Nic
Hailing from Manchester, England, Nick frequented the Hacienda and The Boardwalk back in the day and so his love of House Music began following DJs like Graeme Park, Danny Rampling, Sasha, Digweed and Dave Haslam.
It was only 4 years ago that Nick accidently jumped on the decks at a mate's house and decided he wanted to DJ and produce music.
Within a year of teaching himself how to beatmatch, Nick secured a monthly residency at a night called Promiscuous held at SOHO and YU in Sydney, Australia.
In this time, Nick also DJ'd at World Bar, Candys Appartment, Le Panic, The Eastern, Cargo Bar whilst living in Sydney, Australia and also promoted a night called Discotheque held at the infamous Tatler Bar and Soho Bar DJing alongside Sydney DJ's such as Alex Taylor, Tom Da Silva, Ben Kelly, Woodsy, Scotty J, Winston, Ash and Adam Forstar.
Since returning to the UK Nick has secured a monthly residency at a night called Elektrotherapy based in Cambridge, as well as gigs at Dust Bar in Clerkenwell and a recent gig for JakintheHouse alongside Lee Mortimer (Sawtooth / CR2) and Trevor Loveys (Freerange)
Nick plays all forms of House from Deep / Soulful & Tech through to Funky, Tribal, Electro, Main Room and Classics as well as Techno.
So far in 2008, Nick has been busy in the studio working on remix projects and new productions and is hoping to get some work signed to a label soon. He also appeared in I-DJ Magazine in February 2008 as a runner up in the I-DJ RAW Talent Competition with a Mix CD highlighting his musical style.
