well, both channels start showing music videos around 5am. haha. I'm just disappointed. there used to be shows like headbangers ball and yo mtv raps that would expose new artists in their genres. I understand their attributions of viewership loss to the accessibility of videos online, but that's like throwing in the towel before the war even started...they could have (and still could) formulate an entertaining and cutting edge way to present artists and videos. if they aren't dedicated to music or videos, they should just change their fucking station names.
if video killed the radio star, mtv killed the video star.
I watched the music awards, and realized for the best video award, I hadn't seen 4 of the 5 nominated videos, which is pretty sad.
