Bio
.. .. .. .. ......LUCKY ....DUBE.... PICS (1st Avenue~.... 08/20)...... The Elementals infuse reggae, funk, rock and soul to create a sound that is new to the Minneapolis/St. Paul music scene. With members representing very different musical backgrounds, they each individually contribute a unique element to the sound. The band has performed throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul and the surrounding areas since 2005. During the summer of 2007, the band was blessed with the opportunity to open for international reggae recording legends’ Lucky Dube and Yellowman in the First Avenue main room. Band members are Allison Raney (vocalist), Waltah Shields (vocalist), Ryan Ward (electric guitar), Keith Raney (bass) and Will Nevious (drums). Waltah PPK brings a raw dancehall-style Caribbean chant, Allison mesmerizes crowds with her sweet and soulful vocals, Ryan masterfully plays rhythm and lead guitar, Kman keeps heads moving with the funky bass, and Trichrome A.K.A Wonka gels the group with his Hard-Core meets Roots rhythm. .. ...... .. ...... -
