... Dear all!
We are sad to write such thing on our myspace page... Left in tears, we have to inform you that Fil has passed away... He died in a car crash at 9 a.m. on 18th of February 2008... We can't jus stand this feeling... Element was always a family... and now one of the memebers is gone... We will still have in our memory moments of joy with Tomek... his great, friendly character and great approach to life... It just happened in a wrong time... It should not occur...

Our short bio:
Element was found in 1999. At the beginning, young musicians were mainly inspired by symphonic black metal acts such as Emperor, Dimmu Borgir and Limbonic Art. Later on tastes have changed into more death metal stuff and many others music genres, not necessarily in heavy music category. The Element naturally developed musical skills and broaden its horizons for creation of more ambitious and sophisticated music, oscillating around death metal.
The Element started with symphonic black metal demo cassette titled “Dream In Black” in year 2000. The next step was “Daemonopolis” demo in 2001. The Element moved to death metal genre but still maintained rich symphonic melodies and black metal character.
The most ambitious work of Element is “PsychoPhenomenon” LP from 2003. The band presents avant-garde death metal style with sophisticated symphonic sounds, heart stabbing psychodelic and industrial relishes, all spiced with high level of technique and brain pinching guitar solos. The album gathered great reviews in the underground around the world. The band was compared to unpolished diamond, performing its own style, creating extraordinary and fine art. Then, Element decided to categorize the style presented as ‘neo death metal’ because of huge differentiation in music styles adapted. However, the Element did not sign any deal on this album and remained undiscovered for majority of metal fans around the globe.
Due to studies of band members, the band slowed down on its activity. The new creation was made in 2005. The band changed its style into more rhythmic guitar and drum play with less symphonic melodies. This is the real neo death metal though. Ten compositions were recorded in summer 2005. However, the process of production was prolonged, again because of studies. Now everything is ready. The new album, reflecting new face of Element is titled “Cybernetic Human”. “Smoke” promo containing 4 songs from this album is available for free download. The promo is flash animated and has some extra stuff for fans! The new album is considered to be released. Stay tuned!

Hi guys, sadly enough one of my best friends died here by a speeding driver in a truck who crashed in his car at high speed then left the scene but the police caught him afterwards... my friend's name was Stéphane Cardin but we called him Stef... I hope I get to see him again in another life, that thought of maybe meeting again with lost friends and family helps me not get totally insane!
RIP Fil! I am so sorry for your loss : ( I hope that all the friends and family of Fil may have peace during this tragic event. Let us know if there's anyway we can help! I hope Fil is drumming the shit out of the other side with Vitek and all of our other lost metal brothers!!
The loss of someone dear will never be healed (I know it so well...) but trully expect that Element's members and his family may carry on... My profound respects go to you...
