Have you ever wondered why humans just naturally seem to adapt to certain behaviours even when it is so blatantly immoral to do so?
For to long the drabs (you and I) of humankind have so easily succumbed to the ambitions of an elitist minority who's agenda is to the advantage of only themselves.
Under the guise of the system that we call democracy - they manipulate and create the very policies that will give them absolute power.
What kind of system promotes inequality. The gaps widening everyday where an action like "filling up" your car can kill somebody on the other side of the world from starvation.
From our livlihoods they tax us to create laws to restrict us in every which way lawfully possible an wage private and public wars on an unsuspecting populace - where the main victims are the innocent.
For too long we have stood here doing nothing. Too long.
Why must one wait for tradegy?
The key is unity and contribution. Everyone must do something for this to work.
Sacrifice. Unity. Contribution. Change.
I am Element and this is my contribution.........
Introducing Element (AKA Callum McLeay), originally from Hawkes Bay, now North Shore based, Element has just completed a 13 track album produced by The Sound Room (www.thesoundroom.co.nz). This is Aotearoa hip-hop like you’ve never heard it before = an effortless and sophisticated blend of international and local hip-hop influences, r&b and pop. Disucssing politics, history, war, relationships and good times, the album features guest vocals from Zeisha (www.zeisha.com) and Marshall Smith (www.thenewfreedom.com).
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Hey Y’know Digital Promotion helps the environment AND the economy?
Promoting, selling and creating new revenue streams online requires no manufacturing process, and without physical shipment, creates no “carbon footprint”.
As a musician, digital products and services give you access to a global market, and the value that is created comes back to our local economy. Now you don’t need to have industry contacts - build connections directly with fans worldwide.
We’re encouraging New Zealand musicians to get out there, get online, and take their creativity to the world. Develop content on your own websites, develop your blog, develop and expand new ways to connect and create opportunities online.
The future for creative New Zealanders is just around the corner. Make sure you’re up to date with the latest online promo news and tips by subscribing to our digital music promotion blog here on myspace
