The Element, one of the newest cover bands to the Bay Area scene, is a combination of some of the areas most seasoned and talented musicians. Dedicated to providing an energetic, professional, danceable and passionate show, fun is the name of the game with The Element.
The members pride themselves on providing polished versions of your favorite songs to "Get Down" to, from the 70s, 80s and 90s with a delightful twist of their own personalities. The band invites you to "Holla Back" as you shake your "Humps" to the "Boogie Oogie" rhythm watching the ladies that "Just Wanna Have Fun." Amanda Dieck, lead vocalist, brings a fervent love of singing backed by over 15 years of being a professional singer; rooted in opera. While she has left the stuffy costumes behind she revels in fun wigs and costumes and pulls from her stage experience to help draw the crowd to the dance floor. Her soulful interpretations will lead you to hunger for more.
Lead guitarist, Ray Buyco, rips up the stage with passionate solos and smooth vocal stylings. Having worked as a guitarist for nearly 20 years with musical experiences ranging from blues to top 40s bands; he brings a wide variety of intricate, sexy and clean arrangements. His licks will inspire you to shake your booty and play some air guitar.
Tim Allen, bass and vocals, has been a staple in the Bay Area music scene for over 15 years. Providing steady and complexly detailed bass lines that will pull you to the dance floor. His irresistible charm, strong backup vocals, and funky beat will have your tail-feathers shaking.
Drums and vocals, Chris Miller, leads the bands momentum with his solid rhythm and contagious groove. A professional drummer for over 15 years he has performed and recorded with the likes of: Billy Preston, Dave Meniketti, Glen Frey, Kenny G, Michael Boldton, Mitch Ryder, Al Wilson, The Drifters, The Coasters, Huey Lewis, Glen Campbell and Clay Walker to name a few. The combination of his beats and voice will make your "Milkshake" shake!
