• I am a grand piano player, singer, composer and actress from Cyprus. My heart was set in music when I was very young, I started singing and playing the piano since I was 4 and never left it since. I studied music in the UK (piano, vocals, composition) and acting in Cyprus. • In 2003 I had the luck to meet one of the top DJs and music producers in Cyprus, John Michael Tsiros. With him I recorded vocals for several dance and trance tracks, which have been played on Cyprus radio stations such as Kiss-fm, Choice-fm, Radio Capital as well as on the British Forces radio station (BFBS). I also featured in two music videos. At the end of the year the song Para Siempre was awarded by the British Forces radio as one of the best songs of the year. • In 2004 the song Darkness ended up being an international success, winning an award at the International Songwriting Competition (ISC), USA. Darkness was recognised as one of the eight best songs out of thousands of entries and was included in the double compilation album We Are The World, released to help victims of the Tsunami catastrophe in Asia in 2004. The album included songs by the Thrillseekers, DJ Ravin, Carlos Campos, Lange, Kirtsy Hawkshaw, Art of Trance and others. • I recorded vocals for the ethnic album Eurasia, written by Dimitri. • Back in the UK, I became member of the pop-opera group MILAN (www.milan4.com). With MILAN I performed live on BBC South West for Children in Need, recorded an album and conducted a UK tour with the Celtic Angels orchestra, supporting the Irish tenor Peter Corry. We were interviewed in AnR magazines, as well as in radio stations and magazines in Cyprus. • I spent six weeks at number one on Kiss-fm and Choice-fm, with Tsiros’s remake of the song Killer by Adamski. • I was invited to perform solo at a piano recital organised by the Rire Pour Deux Mains Association in Bordeaux, France, playing and singing songs from around the world. • I worked quite a lot as piano vocalist in five star hotels in Cyprus, performing pop, jazz, bossa nova, soul, rock and Cuban music. • I was member of the choir in a production of the opera Le Nozze di Figaro by the Cyprus Opera and the orchestra of Okinawa Perfectual University of Arts from Japan. • My best memory from acting was when I worked with the Cyprus National Theatre (THOK), touring throughout Cyprus and Denmark and participating at the annual ancient drama festival in Epidauros in Greece. Unforgettable experience! • In films, I was third assistant director with Cranberry Films, London, and worked as extra with directors Johnny Kevorkian (Mind’s Eye Productions) and Andreas Panzis. • I recorded adverts for radio and TV. • Participated as a model at a Toni and Guy fashion show • I’ve worked a lot as a music tutor, teaching piano and vocal lessons, music theory and composition for children. • My passions: Dance! I love salsa and belly dancing, there’s something so feminine and seductive about it. I also love travelling and learning foreign languages (I can’t help it, it’s in my Sagittarius nature…) • At the moment I am based in Bristol and I teach, play jazz in a piano lounge and work as DJ, playing house, RNB, latin and world music.
