  • Bio

A self-titled choreographic pianist, Eleonor Sandresky's music has been featured in film, on MTV, and in the concert hall. Her music has been heard in major venues on three continents, from the Philadelphia Fringe Festival to the Totally Huge New Music Festival in Perth, Australia. Her music ranges from cabaret songs to evening-length collaborations; orchestral to intimate solo piano works. Her music can also be heard on Koch International, Masterworks of the New Era, and soon on Albany Records. She has performed and recorded for a variety of composers and ensembles from Guy Klucevsek to Philip Glass. And loves to be involved in projects that push the limits of her chops and musical skills, including her own! Eleonor is currently presenting workshops and concert performances that explore the impact of motion to sound - how we perceive sound and why it can be such an emotional experience for us. Check the shows list for these events. She has been awarded grants and awards from the American Music Center, ASCAP, the Jerome Foundation, Meet the Composer, and NYSCA. She has two Masters Degrees: from Yale University School of Music for composition, where she was awarded the most promising composer award; and from The Eastman School of Music in piano performance.

This is some exhausting piano ! I have a orchestration prepared for several pianos on several tonalities..with bassoon and jazzy drums. Could you be interested in adding your small
touch ? You last piece is close to some of the tones used.
