Bad news unfortunately... The truss rod is either completely maxed out or snapped in half. There's no way to truly tell unless I tried to take it out. But if I had to take a stab at it, I'd say it's snapped in half because there's a large crack right behind the nut and it's very deep. So it looks like it took a dive and landed headstock first on a hard surface which can certainly destroy a truss rod. So it will not be able to be repaired unless you sink some SERIOUS money into it. Trust me, it's not worth it. Even if that was like a $2,000 bass it still wouldn't be worth it. I'd either ask for my money back from the Ebay seller, or just resell it "as-is".
