"LEPER rips through two fast hardcore tracks that have elements of powerviolence, grindcore, and fastcore. I'm amazed how many words they fit into each song. The lyric sheet is packed even though they play just two short tracks. ELEUTHEROS starts out with standard medium-paced hardcore punk, and then they threw me a curve with a very poppy chorus that has a garage rock feel featuring multiple cleanly sung male/female voices before kicking back into hardcore punk with screamed vocals. I like how they go back'n'forth between the sounds. Hell, the first track even ends with surf drums, clean reverby guitar, and a guy chanting "DIY or die." This is catchy and earnest. Their second track, "DIY Nation," sounds almost exactly like the first track "DIY or Die." This time there is a ska breakdown with spoken female vocals. I was surprised the ska didn't bother me. This 7" is ruling my world right now."
