Formed in 2003, in Juiz de Fora, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, nowadays, Elevare has the following members: Pâmela Emanuelle (vocals), Leandro Trombini (guitars/vocals), Pedro Machado (bass), Ruy Alhadas (keyboards), David Riera (guitars) and Everton Moreira (drums).

In 2004, the band recorded a demo called “Elevation”, which was received extraordinarily well by fans and critics. Several web zines and two of the greatest Brazilian Heavy Metal/Rock magazines - Roadie Crew and Rock Brigade - wrote about it.

With eleven songs, Elevare’s first CD, called “World... Desert?”, was recorded in march-june 2006, mixed and mastered in november 2006-july 2007 and released in the end of 2007.

In the beginning, the predominant ideal was a sound based on the bands that had gothic influences closer to Heavy Metal, such as Tristania and Lacuna Coil, as we could notice in the "Elevation" demo.

Nowadays, however, as it is a bit away from the initial Heavy Metal style, Elevare practices a more elaborated and different sound, mixing the different influences of the musicians of the band, that goes from classic Rock’n Roll to Pop to 80's Gothic and, still, we can perceive a Heavy Metal influence, a bit smooth, but not forgotten.

In this context, the first full length album, "World…Desert?", was recorded in 2006 and has been released in the end of 2007, independently.

The subject matter of the lyrics is about the relationship of the human being and the pain of his soul. However, there is no sadness but melancholy. There is nothing about suffering, but anguish. It is not an announced pain. Just a theme of feelings that is common to every one of us; feelings we always live, in different proportions.

Captivating harmonies and melodies are privileged, combined with a dense clime, proper to the thematic involved.

Worse than the limits that someone establishes to us are the ones that we establish to ourselves. So, the band prefers that the listener come to his own conclusions about its style.

Formada em 2003, na cidade de Juiz de Fora, Estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil, a banda Elevare conta atualmente com Pâmela Emanuelle (vocais), Leandro Trombini (guitarras/vocais), Pedro Machado (baixo), Ruy Alhadas (teclados), David Riera (guitarras) e Everton Moreira (bateria).

Em 2004, foi gravada a demo "Elevation", que foi muito bem aceita pela crítica e público, tendo sido resenhada por vários web zines e por duas das maiores revistas brasileiras de Heavy Metal/Rock, Roadie Crew e Rock Brigade.

O primeiro CD da banda, chamado "World... Desert?", conta com 11 músicas próprias. Foi gravado entre abril e junho de 2006, mixado e masterizado entre novembro de 2006 e julho de 2007 e lançado no final de 2007.

No começo, predominava o ideal de um som calcado nas bandas com influências góticas mais próximas do Metal, como Tristania e Lacuna Coil, conforme se podia notar na demo “Elevation”.

Hoje em dia, no entanto, um pouco distanciada do estilo estritamente mais Heavy Metal de outrora, a banda pratica um som mais elaborado e diversificado, mesclando as diferentes influências dos músicos membros, que vão do Rock´n Roll clássico, passando pelo Pop, Gothic 80 e, ainda, nota-se a influência Metal do passado, amenizada, mas não esquecida.

Nesse contexto, foi gravado o primeiro full length, "World... Desert?", em 2006, o qual foi lançado no final de 2007, de forma totalmente independente.

A temática das letras é voltada para a relação do ser humano com as dores da alma. Porém, não há tristeza e sim melancolia. Não se fala de sofrimento, mas de angústia. Não é uma dor panfletária. Apenas uma temática com sentimentos comuns a todos nós; sentimentos esses que vivenciamos sempre, em diferentes proporções.

Privilegiam-se harmonias e melodias cativantes, combinadas a um clima denso, adequado à temática envolvida.

Pior que os limites que nos colocam, são aqueles que nós mesmos nos colocamos. Dessa forma, a banda prefere que o ouvinte tire suas próprias conclusões com relação ao seu estilo.
