Who doesn’t love a good dance party? If you do, then Elevator Dance Party is your go to band for the mind-blowing music, crazy dance moves, and one great time.
Elevator Dance Party (EDP) is a dedicated and talented four-piece rock/pop band out of Long Beach, CA; that started in early 2008, when four friends wanted to share their passion for music with the world. The band is comprised of Matt Mallet (vocals), Mikey Powell (guitar), Josie Randle (bass), and Paul Storey (drums). “I started EDP because I have a passion for creating music with others,” explains Mikey. “It’s the greatest feeling in the world when someone hears the music I’ve created and has affected them in a positive way.”
Each member of the band brings his or her own flare and style of music to the band, ranging from indie to rock to punk/pop to hardcore. The guys, and girl, of Elevator Dance Party have one goal, and that is to get you dancing and singing along to their mind-blowing pop/rock music that never leaves your head.
Through endless months of writing they enjoy creating infectious hooks, sing along choruses, and lyrics involving love, angst, and life experiences. They are currently writing their first full-length album, which will be released late Dec 2009/ early Jan 2010. Don’t worry you don’t have to wait that long to get your hands on their music.
