E.D.S. has gone through the ranks of the local metal scene and is now the most recognized sound in the area. Brutal vocals, heavy guitar riffs and technical drum beats give elevator the distinct and original sound that has made them a top act in the Twin Tiers area of NY/PA. Death Squad is influenced by three decades of rock and metal, from Van Halen to Lamb of god. They have performed with such acts as GWAR, Dying Fetus, Celtic Frost,
Goat Whore, Brand New Sin and other national acts. E.D.S. debuted their first album"Spread the Plague" with great response from the natives of the Upstate NY region and would like to expand it nationally. Death Squad is currently recording their second and even more anticipated album that is in demand throughout the Upstate NY area. " Watch out for the Death Squad ...they have the potential to go far! Heavy enough for the staunchest death metal fan, yet tasteful and catchy enough for the Godsmack or Disturbed fan, quite simply ...THESE GUYS ROCK! This band could easily carry the torch passed from Pantera to the newer generation of metal bands and can hang with the best of them."
- Mike Benson, host of "The Metal Meltdown" WKGB FM. Elevator Death Squad packs the local clubs and bars and has played in front of as many as 3,000 people, garnering tremendous crowd response.
