“ …these are not the words you use, these are just the words to show: Oh, she's letting go, but you're harder than I am…”

…just the fact the people seem to be getting dumber and dumber. You know, I mean, we have all this amazing technology, and yet computers have turned into basically four-figure wank machines. The internet was supposed to set us free, democratize us, but all it’s really given us is Howard Dean’s aborted candidacy, and twenty-four-hour-a-day access to kiddie porn. And people, they don’t write anymore, they blog. Instead of talking, they text. No punctuation, no grammar—LOL this and LMFAO that. You know it just seems to me it’s just a bunch of stupid people pseudo-communicating with a bunch of other stupid people in a proto-language that resembles more of what cavemen used to speak than the King’s English. —Hank Moody

Look at everything you've accomplished! Albums of pure brilliance!
An amazing following of people who not only believe in you and yur craft, but who love you as much as you love us!
Here's the thing: Back in the day, before we were even conceived, music was killer then. And I mean music as a whole. We know the many greats that the 60s and 70s spawned. And yeah, you're not a billionaire, but really, so fuckin' what? Music's in a shit state, yet you're still pumping out mad amounts of hot tunes. You're the future, baby. You're doing what they'll eventually catch up to, and that's perfectly okay. mo.73

“The beauty of flames lies in their strange play, beyond all proportion and harmony. Their diaphanous flare symbolizes at once grace and tragedy, innocence and despair, sadness and voluptuousness. The burning transcendence has something of the lightness of great purifications. I wish the fiery transcendence would carry me up and throw me into a sea of flames, where, consumed by their delicate and insidious tongues, I would die an ecstatic death. The beauty of flames creates the illusion of a pure, sublime death similar to the light of dawn. Immaterial, death in flames is like a burning of light, graceful wings. Do only butterflies die in flames? What about those devoured by the flames within them?” E. Cioran
