eleven eleven is an original/cover band comprised of musicians from the philadelphia area. ok, now that that’s out of the way all you have to do is ask anyone who has seen an eleven eleven show and they will tell you it is quite a personal experience. the 4 guys welcome their audience with a top notch set list that includes something for just about everyone. this combined with their ridiculously approachable nature makes for great fun. it’s more often than not that people find themselves involved in an eleven eleven show rather than just watching one. from singing on stage with the band to the many socials throughout the evening, this experience is not like watching just any other band.
the band is the love child of singer/guitarist jeff giuliani and drummer/dj rich franchetta. these two have never played in a band without each other and have been playing for almost 20 years!!! it began as a strictly original outfit and accomplishments include 6 national album releases. one of which “the unlovable ep,” reached 17 in the nation on the college cmj chart. with a tour of london england, several national tours opening for bands such as phantom planet, the thrills, echo and the bunnymen, dave gahan and even run dmc, eleven eleven have been “around.” savvy to the scene and the business of the scene, jeff and rich know what they’re doing (at least most of the time) and love every minute of it.
when the two decided to work as a cover band to help fund the original projects, they set out to have a set list that was very friendly to a wide variety of people. if you ask jeff he’ll tell you that their song selection is geared toward getting the girls up and dancing. his theory is simple, the toughest guy in the club is always going to want to be where the girls are!!!
with the addition of adam torgun on lead guitar and stebs on bass, eleven eleven has a huge sound that is complimented with an awesome sound system and light show. they keep the fun rolling with dj sets inbetween band sets so don’t miss out and make sure you see an eleven eleven show for yourself. it promises to be fun!!!
So, I was Ocean City Maryland on vacation, looking thru the paper finding something to do! Long and behold! I couldn'nt believe it! You guys were playing at Secrets! OMG I thought! thru my sneakers on and down to Secrets I go! Had the best time! Great tunes, great show! You made my vacation! Awesome stuff! Sooooo, when are ya comming back to Frederick? huh huh?
