Formed in 2004 'eleven eleven' are a dynamic three piece rock band from around Bristol, England. Having bands such as Muse, Queens of the Stone Age and the Police as their primary influences makes for an eclectic sound brought to the fore at their incendiary live shows.
The driving bass of lead vocalist Nick Koulias, the stabbing, overblown guitar of Ryan Richards and the heavy, rock steady drum work of Colin Gittens make eleven eleven a live force to be reckoned with. On record too, their telekinetic dynamics can be found to be fully formed and flourishing on tracks such as Clear, Start Again, and If I Fall.
Born in Weston super Mare and Bristol, England the band have found their voice on the touring circuit, and have branched out to play venues in London, the beating heart of the British music scene. One such show was a slot in the Emergenza National Battle of The Bands National final in Londons infamous 'Mean Fiddlers' in 2005, earning the band a respectable 4th place and 'best bassist' award. The competition saw the band play in some of Bristols top music venues, including a sell-out show at the Carling Acadamy.
eleven eleven are vehemently proud of their hard rock roots as well as their passion for experimenting with the rock genre. A three piece they may be, but they never let it restrict them in terms of style, volume or musical ambition.
