El fata born in lagos started as a drummer in his secondary school's cultural group...few years later,he started featuring as a singer on songs of well known artists in the country which made him well known to the Nigerian public & press...he later joined a band in 1993 through which he played in various parts of the country...In 1996..the band ended one of his gig contract with the lagos Hilton hotel of which it was a residense band...during this period,to further his musical career El fata decided to travel to Cote d'ivoire..where he learnt to speak the official language (french),he soon started to write and compose in french as well as in english and made many contacts through which his first album titled ''The coming of EL FATA''was released in 1999 by a record label based in the country.Very soon he became well known to the Ivorian public and press and made many concerts with the band he formed called ''El fata & the living spirit''.He played at many festivals,concerts and occassions across the country..Since El fata left his natal home Nigeria in 1996,ever since then,he's been living in cote d'ivoire until the civil war which originally started in 1999 broke out again in 2004,later that same year,El fata decided to travel out of Cote d'ivoire and this time to the United kingdom..a month after his arrival to the united kingdom,he meet Jim who runs Bamjimba production(a private record label) based in preston(northwest of UK),fortunatly enough,Jim who was looking for a singer, heard one of El fata's songs,got impressed by El fata's powerful and sweet vocals,he decided to invite El fata for his next single titled ''Wakey Wakey'' in 2004 recorded at the studio of the number one private reggae label in the UK Ariwa studio with Mad professor and Joe.El fata continue to sing with bamjimba production across northwest and east of England and in scotland with a sound system called ''Mungos hifi.Later in 2006 El fata was again in studio with Bamjimba production for the release of the Album titled ''ROUTES''...which was released in August same year...three months after, the CEO of Astral records and music (a record label based in Austalia)heard El fata's song on the internet,he got attracted by El fata's sweet vocal and style and so he contacted El fata for a record deal which lead to the preparation of the release of El fata's second album titled ''MIRACLE'' due for release in early 2007 under Astral records and music.And uptill now El fata continue to spread the message of Love through his unique style of sweet reggae music.
