In August 2008, after the end of a previous musical project, Claire-Lyse and Seb, claimed by their passion, decided to start a symphonic metal band. .... The main idea was to mix a Gothic metal style with a more lyric atmosphere. Claire-Lyse, convinced and in love with this classical singing technique, and Seb at the guitar, sought to create an elfic and deep-rooted mood, wrapped by a powerful sound, and fascinating, philosophical and introspective texts. The searchs for musicians began in the summer 2008. .. .. The first guy met was Greg during the summer 2008. The contact with him remained at the stage of the discussion, since he was still active in another musical project. In October, Cédric, bass player, joined Claire-Lyse and Seb. Shortly after, in December 2008, Greg officially joined the band, with his excellent drum skills and his great motivation. In January 2009, Lionel, keyboardist, brought a great melodic touch. Finally, in February 2009, Valery, meticulous and precise guitarist, joined the band. During the winter 2009, a line-up change occurred, with Thibaut who integrated Elferya at the bass guitar. .. .. During the summer 2009, the first band's compos where recorded. The 5 title EP was mastered at the end of 2009. The last details before the distribution of this first EP, such as the cover art, are underway. You will be able to hear very to soon that the symphonic atmosphere and the energy released by enthusiasm, the image and the powerful sound of Elferya are unique. En août 2008, suite au terme d’un projet musical, Claire-Lyse et Seb, poussés par leur passion, décidèrent de fonder un groupe de métal symphonique .. .. L’idée principale était de mélanger un métal gothique avec un chant et une atmosphère plus lyrique. Claire-Lyse, amoureuse et convaincue par cette technique de chant classique, et Seb à la guitare, cherchaient à créer une ambiance elfique et profonde, enveloppée d’un puissant son, et de textes prenants, philosophiques et introspectifs. Les recherches de musiciens débutèrent lors de ce fameux été 2008. .. .. La première personne rencontrée fut Greg dans le cours de l’été 2008. Le contact avec ce dernier resta au stade de la discussion, puisqu’il était encore actif dans un autre projet musical. En octobre, Cédric, bassiste, rejoignit Claire-Lyse et Seb. Par la suite, en décembre 2008, Greg rallia officiellement le groupe, avec ses excellentes compétences de batteur et sa grande motivation. En janvier 2009, Lionel, claviériste, apporta une grande touche mélodique. Enfin, en février 2009, Valery, guitariste minutieux et précis, rejoignit la band. Durant l’hiver 2009, un petit changement de line-up s'opéra, avec Thibaut qui intégra le groupe à la basse. .. .. Lors de l’été 2009, les premières compos du groupe sont enregistrées. La démo 5 titres est masterisée fin 2009. Les derniers détails avant la distribution de ce premier EP, tels que le cover art, sont en cours de traitement. Vous pourrez donc très prochainement vous rendre compte que l’atmosphère symphonique et l’énergie dégagée par l’enthousiasme, l’image et le puissant son d’Elferya sont uniques.
