The name Elfion was Forged in Fire in 1984. It was derived from a book we read, titled "The Tree of Swords and Jewels."
The orginal name of the band in 1982 was M.A.C.E which stood for Mutinize And Conquer Evil. Iron Maiden, Led Zep, Rainbow, Scorpions, UFO, MSG, Armored Saint, Savage Grace, Jag Panzer, and Queensryche inspired us to keep Metal and Rock N Roll flowing in our local community!
From 1984 to 1987 we played any gig that we could get, from backyard parties to clubs like the Red Onion, Spearmint Rhino, The Rock, Peppers, and The Marquee. It was during this period that we discovered the passion we had as band. The passion was to play live events.
In 1987 we decided to disband and focus on careers that were actually paying the bills. From 1991 to 1994 there were events that took place like the three song demo, and live gigs at various local clubs. We didn't reach too many milestones but we had fun doing what we were doing! Playing Metal was all we cared about!
Elfion is now in the 21st Century and have been active since 2006.
We have played a number of concerts (2007-2009) with some kick ass bands. It has been an honor for us to support Finntroll, Testament, Overkill, Exodus and Forbidden.
