El Futuro (Belgium) stands for FUTURISTIC MUSIC and started in 1998 as a radioshow hosted by Josh Lasden. In 1999 the concept was transformed into an event holding legendary nights all over Belgium in Fuse (Brussels), Club Decadance - Club Unit - Celtic bar (Ghent) and in Club N9 – JH De Lochtink (Eeklo).
Finally a label was launched in 2007 that reflects the typical futuristic character with, EL FUTURO RECORDINGS.
The process of starting a new chapter, with adding the label, started in the summer of 2007 with a first release followed in December.
The label mainly concentrates on bringing futuristic music. You can describe this electronic music as warm atmospheric sometimes mysterious soundscapes added with jazzy, funky and tropical elements.
All tracks are wrapped in an emotional jacket sometimes flaming 4/4 house music others are more timeless trip hop, lounge or ambient oriented.
First names that will appear on the label are Josh Lasden, Synoptic, Nathan Coles, Nils Hess, Wings of Sound, Bellaert, The Mystic Force and more established names will follow next to fresh upcoming talents.
The label got support from ARMIN VAN BUUREN, LAURENT GARNIER, DANNY HOWELLS, ROGER SANCHEZ, HERNAN CATTANEO, MATT DAREY, LAYO & BUSHWACKA, ANGEL MOLINA, X-PRESS 2, DAVE MOTHERSOLE, PAKO & FREDERIK, BRUCE TANTUM, EELKE KLEIJN and many many more.....

El Futuro, Thanks for the friendship and fabulous music! My favorite track was "Closer We'll Become". It has a great phat bassline, killer beats and great vocals!
Jordan Rivera is back this time with legendary UK singer Spoonface (faada.co.uk). The voice of Number one selling Black Legend and club anthem 'Hey Girl'. Black Legend's "You See the Trouble with Me" reached #1 in the UK Singles Chart selling several million worldwide. Many recognise Spoonface's contribution to the sound of Ukfunky with the classic dancefloor hit 'Hey Girl' With a host of collaborations from Drum and Bass maestro High Contrast to Reggae Legend Janet Kay, his current efforts have kept him at the top of the club charts with tracks like Wunna Be (Christain Marchi remix) and Here For You (Time srl). This track is called 'Keep on Holding'. It's an inspirational house record aiming to provide some upliftment in these 'crazy time's'. Remixes by Jesse Voorn (Dance4Life), Firebeatz (Spinnin/Big&Dirty), John Jacobsen & Anzwer (Pacha Ibiza Residents) Nino Anthony (Portamento/Subliminal), TYNY & Jeremus (Full Throttle Rec.), Amir Barbell (FSM), Jodee Kitch (FSM) and Norty Cotto (Naughty Boy Music/Henry Street Music) Have already become a triumphant hit on myspace!"
