Originally from San Diego, Michael Andrews is a multi-faceted musician/producer/film composer. Mike’s work is always characterized by his distinctively personal touch. Mike has also left a footprint with his adventurous production work. Although probably best known for his Christmas 2004 number 1 UK single version of Tears for Fears’ “Mad World” (featuring Gary Jules), Mike has also helped create wonderful albums for artists like Inara George and Van Dyke Parks, Metric, Gary Jules, and many others. He received rave reviews for his own 2006 solo collection “Hand On String” and continues to record and perform both as a solo artist and as a member of the band Greyboy Allstars (under his pseudonym Elgin Park).
