"It's really monged and really beautiful. I used to stay up with my friend Remi getting stoned and trying to find enough music like it to last the whole night. It sounds a bit like Basinski or ambient Aphex doing the Blade Runner soundtrack." - David Bell (gotcha)

   About EL Heath

My name is Eric. The "L" in my name stands for "Loveland", a point not lost when I was younger for the obvious hilarity it spews. I write music these days, which I release for free. Maybe this means people will hear it. I hope so. It would be a shame if it was wasted. You can listen/download it below, you can listen to newer/older stuff above. I play gigs, play in bands, record for people who ask me to and compose soundtracks for films, animations, ideas and things I find inspiring (look left).

I record as:

EL Heath (this page)

Eric Heath (more experimental fun stuff, anything goes)

Loveland (electronic noodlings)

I am a member of:

The Hungry I (in recorded form and occasionally live)

Strap the Button (both recorded and live, sometimes playing accordion with a painted on moustache)

Scaly Hand (one half of a free-visual art and audio project, mainly responsible for production duties)

I collaborate with:

Robert Redford for Bedford

DJ the Blade

Hubbard (hopefully soon)

I'm feeling the new tune a lot, elements of kraftwerk in there fo sheezy!

I couldn't work those hours, it would make me a living corpse.

...aand in reply to your (very quick to arrive) response to mt first message: I would say August is looking more likely now for stuff and ting.

Arggh, its like all my time is being eaten up by invisible time monkeys. Either that or I'm just bad at time management (we'll go with the magic monkeys for the minute shall we?)

hmm, it would seem I am tired and need sleep before tonights nightshift. I'll let you know as soon as poss about a free day. Its getting silly now, there are EPs to be written!

I reckon its about our 5th album! Oh well, I can't grumble really, it is nice to be appreciated now and again.... Hows things at Heath HQ, any developments in the Wayside & Woodland album/ep.......? I'm guessing you're out playing cricket now, or maybe more accurately, sitting in the pavilion 'taking' tea like a proper English gent while the heavens lash down on the wicket (or something...) xx

Hi Eric - finally I get round to completing the new (mini) batch of releases. It's great to put out your stuff, THANKS once again.

DSL18 Dead Wood - Harmonic Sector 1-10 - £3.
00

As Dead Wood, Dirtydemos boss Adam Baker sculpts beautiful laptop drones from the simplest of source material. Sine waves are carefully layered and manipulated, and from this simple source material complex sounds and etherial shimmering voices are summoned. Minimal and decorated with glitchy pointillist gestures. This is a warm, visceral and narcotic listen, far removed from the usual releases in this genre.

DSL17 El Heath - A (rather) Dead Sea Liner EP - £3.

Ambient Sea shanties and beautiful abyssal drones

Thank you for being our friend. We hope you can make it to the theremin festival in Lippstadt. It's going to be a great time.

(If you have any theremin playing friends, don't forget to tell them about this - they won't want to miss it.

Ask Ben and Rob, they'll know someone I'm sure. I don't unfortunately. It shall be one fat goat of a fun fest.
I hope your ear gets better my dear! Stop poking plastic animals into them; that'll probably help.

Coffee? Wankers. Glad you got it and liked the personalisation. I think it's a good thing to do.

It would be a pleasure to make lots of tunes with you. It shall be done! Nothing could keep me away from Wheaton Aston fest-time, so I shall see you there for much joviality and midnight jams. Can I get a lift with you to Nottingham for our gig on the Sunday? What day are you getting to WA? I'm hoping to get as far as Birmingham at the very least on Thursday (only a week away, woo!). I hope it's as sunny and warm as it is now.

Hi EL Heath, yes its an original! My French friend Eric has conections in France and Belique when it comes to searching for such things. However its requires much attention. The legs are missing the diffusers also.
When I think about it, you're better off with the French connection! Best wishes Jamie

I did indeed get your cheque and it paid for my eats for a few days!

My friend has got that exact same casio, it does sound really wicked, like the electric piano/bells settings and there was a setting that sounded just like a synth BOC would use.

How did you manage to wing an Egypt and tape recording deal?
