"It's really monged and really beautiful. I used to stay up with my friend Remi getting stoned and trying to find enough music like it to last the whole night. It sounds a bit like Basinski or ambient Aphex doing the Blade Runner soundtrack." - David Bell (gotcha)

   About EL Heath

My name is Eric. The "L" in my name stands for "Loveland", a point not lost when I was younger for the obvious hilarity it spews. I write music these days, which I release for free. Maybe this means people will hear it. I hope so. It would be a shame if it was wasted. You can listen/download it below, you can listen to newer/older stuff above. I play gigs, play in bands, record for people who ask me to and compose soundtracks for films, animations, ideas and things I find inspiring (look left).

Apart from a band who failed to credit my involvement, here is a list of who I am/have been involved with over the years: Epic45, Rob Dunsford, Strap the Button, The Exploits of Elaine, Criggion (multi-media documentation project), Hybrid Dialect (duo with beatboxer Craig Bradbury), Loveland, The Tall Poet (Andrew Fusek Peters), Les Étoiles, The Daughters, Cat Green Bike, Babytwin, The Rev. Steve, The Bang On! Samba Band, Orunder (sometimes a duo with Andy Buclaw), Elrond Hubbard (duo with Alex Hubbard), Dave Osborn, The Hungry I (now To Bury a Ghost), July Skies, Robert Redford for Bedford, Sweet Potato. Some of my releases have been put out under my own name of "Eric Heath".

Various labels have released my music:

Foetal Orange, Records on Ribs, Dead Sea Liner Records, Phantom Channel, Guidence Records, Wayside and Woodland Recordings.

Hiya Eric,

I hope the tour was a lot of fun, apart from being exhausting. I must
say I really like your 19 tracks compilation! It's got a very
mysterious feel to it. I hope you guys appreciated our EP as well (you
can be honest with us, don't worry).

I must admit I haven't looked into your recommendations yet, but I will
get around to it as soon as my internet is more cooperative (read:
stable).

Paul

PS - Check out the Japanese group Nido. I think you'd like them.

yeah, the producer we where with the other week was hoping it was deliberate. I quite like it! Maybe we should release a single called Earl Greyor PG Tips. You'll have to get some recordings of your keyboard singing madness.

Mr Heath,
an email + attachment should be waiting for you at your hotmail email addy :)

What's this album malarkay about/called and what tunes are you releasing on it?

Yes, I am indeed still down in Cambridge, trying to earn some dough amongst other things; I was back up north for a bit (a few weeks ago), but i'm not sure when i'm gonna head back next...

It's not that easy to get strings recorded down here, (I need to organise it for myself) but I'd be more than happy to possibly attempt adding my own trills? haha

Enjoy your euro trip lucky beggar!

I'm pretty well thank you Eric, i've been busy finding/collecting keyboards, working, reading, relaxing with the missus, making instruments and writing new songs (mainly).

A friend at uni made a music video for 'Right By' just before Glatonbury which was unsettling but fun and should be finished in a week or two!

I re-arranged 'Colouring in Out of The lines' a lil bit, and I just need to add some backing vox and it should be finitoooo'd. :)

How's your life mr, you got some gigs coming up, oo la la?
