All the good vocal music we have listened to throughout our lives, for example the King's Singers, Pro Cantione Antiqua, Chanticleer, Ars Nova, Hesperion XXI, Ensamble Elyma, Orlando Consort, SAVAE, Cantus Cölln, Quink Consort, Ars Nova, among many others.
Our work has also been shaped by people like Edmundo Díaz del Campo, Ana Patricia Carbajal, Patricia Morales, Ethel González, Barbara Lorey, Eugenia Ramírez, Jorge Pérez Delgado, Lennart Winnberg and certainly we have forgotten someone. The list is very long.
Hexagrama is a vocal ensamble engaged with Renaissance and colonial music. We started in August 2006 with six members. During one year and a half, we built up a nice list of repertoire. In January 2008 we continued our work with four fix members and added recorders and percussion to some pieces. During October 2008 we recorded our first demo CD. Right now we are exploring more folk music.
Bueno, lastima que no fueron al de la tarde jajaja Bueno, ese si estuvo presentable y bueno, en fin... Pronto subire videos de el de la tarde la diferencia es abismal
I want to warn you about one of the songs. It is called "A-Political Days".. It has 2 words that are not nice. I worte this song in this manor to express how I felt about bad TV Evangelist that take peoples money and they don't even care about God. Also to express how bad things are in the world with jobs, companies rapeing their workers and throwing them away like trash after they've used them up. It's also about peoples sexual escapdes and how the world has turned the Bible around to fit their own personal needs. So you see, it's not ment to be a nice song. My appologies to you if it offends you. Marty
Thanks so much Claudia... We are honored to be your friends. I need to get back to your page also. I've been so busy lately. Have a great day and I hope you like the other songs too. Marty
