El Hombre Jokes are a foot stomping, tune humming, hands clapping, smile inducing, 'feel good' jam band from Co.Dublin. Originally formed in 2007, the band recorded a short demo which was distributed to friends, family and some media - but never released commercially. After a year traveling around the world, the band reconvened in December 2008 - and have since started to make a major impact on the Dublin gigging scene - playing in Whelans, Crawdaddy, The Village, The Button Factory and Eamonn Dorans to name a few. Summer 2009 has been particularly busy for El Hombre Jokes, having just finished recording their debut EP - which will be launched in Whelan's towards the end of the summer. 2009 has been a good year for El Hombre Jokes - and the future's looking even brighter!
