oh. erich here. el hub began as a desire to have something to sell at a christmas store i ran with my girlfriend and one of our dearest friends. so a christmas classic- the legendary "christmas is a bummer"- was recorded and sold. the songs were original compositions because i wasn't sure which of the classic holiday tunes were in the public domain. and i used the name el hub because i come from the american south where there are way too many singer songwriters with first and last names( god love 'em), and not enough bands with electronic minds. odd then, that 'christmas' is a primarily acoustic record. bands need names first. the name would be el hub. it would be a flexible project, adaptable to different situations and sounds. clarke plays drums, and i love drums! after playing music with other people we met each other and decided to play music together. it's a great thing to do. we're proponents. try it if you've never done it. i'm sure that this section will grow with time to include honors received and a host of other historical facts that have not been created yet as we are a new project. we will begin to try and sell ourselves as a band to the public through the beauty of electronic awareness. future time-

Positive Spin is proud to present two of our favorite artists, Sam Stone and Cosmic America at the new Windows On The Cumberland at 515 2nd Avenue South in Nashville, TN. The show is the Wednesday, Feb. 9th starting at 9PM sharp. This will be a hell-raising, rip-roaring, good time to warm up your cold winter. Sam Stone is a fantastic spooky, bluesy three piece rock outfit. Think Robin Trower meets RL Burnside. Cosmic America is a bizarre, americana freakfest in all the best ways. Think Gram Parsons meets Country Joe & The Fish with a dash of Zappa thrown in. It's going to be a fun night for sure.
