Hello there,

My name is Elie Bertrand and I am a drummer. I picked it up at the age of 5 and never stopped… Thank god my parents are supportive! I was introduced to different styles of music from the very beginning. From funk, to blues, pop and rock, hard rock to metal, latin and all that jazz. I also had the chance to learn and play with some amazing musicians. My first gig was in 2004, I played in a classic rock/blues cover band. Since then, I’ve been part of a few cover bands I was, of course, involve in every high school projects I could. I was also part of a rad percussion troop called Insolita. I played some sweet gigs with those guys on TV, in Festivals and all sorts of events. More recently from the summer of 2007 to late 2009, I was part of an all-girl band from Toronto called Scarlet Sins. We played loooots of shows over those 2 years and got a fair amount of recognition, opening up for bands such as Motley Crue, The Trews, Helix, Sacrifice, The Agonist, Kittie, Cryptosy, Vixen… and the list goes on and on. We were also on the 2009 Grammy awards short lists.

Now I’m back in Montreal playing independently. Hit me up if you need a solid drummer or more info!
