The faces behind the name “Elijah Sound” are: Dale Wake (Vocals), Anthony Reno (Guitar/Vocals), Ken Martin (Bass Guitar/Vocals) and Jake Gardner (Percussion). The quartet has been together (with a recent change of drummers) since November of 2006 and has put in nearly 100 shows with performances spanning 5 states and more than 60 cities.
The band performs a new style of hard rock, could be termed "Progressive Hard Rock". When it comes to music, they try to write the kind of music that they would like to listen to in the hopes that the audience will also enjoy listening too.
In the winter of 2006 Elijah Sound released “Open The Window” with former label “Seventh Avalon Records” and released a nationwide single “You Don’t Know” with HMG Music out of Nashville. Then again in winter 2007 Elijah Sound recorded “Valley of Dry Bones.” The new album brings out the heavy side of the band as well as the sensitive musical side revealing the talent of the band in many different ways.
