Bio
..INTENSUS.. is a studio recording project created by Eli Litwin, drummer for Knife the Glitter, Normal Love and many other groups. A resident of Philadelphia for many years, Eli has had the opportunity to involve himself in the metal and underground rock scenes as well as the avant-garde/improvised music scene. The purpose of this project was to take these different styles and combine them into a freely improvised extreme metal album with one goal in mind: intensity. The process began with one recording session in which Eli improvised drum tracks for the entire album, start to finish, in one take. Over the course of the next year, he simultaneously wrote and recorded guitar tracks to create songs out of the improvised drum parts. Some sections were first take improvisations as well, while others were fine-tuned and perfected within 5-25 minutes. The general idea was to keep everything very spontaneous. After all guitars were recorded, Eli learned it all on bass and went through the same process. Now that all music has been completed, vocal recording has begun. For this task, Eli has enlisted a number of friends (some from bands that you most likely are familiar with) to contribute vocals to 2 tracks each. More to come... .... Bio:.. Eli Litwin was born in 1983 in Morristown, NJ. He began playing drums at the age of 9 and started his first rock band at age 11. Through high school he continued to play in a variety of rock bands as well as the high school jazz band. Eli chose to attend the Esther Boyer College of Music at Temple University where he studied drum set with Erik Johnson. Since graduating with his Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance, Eli has remained in Philadelphia to pursue music on both the performing and teaching ends. Though his area of expertise began largely in metal, Eli has gained significant experience playing in jazz, rock & avant-garde idioms as well. He is currently a member of ..Knife the Glitter.., ..Normal Love.., ..Burden.., ..Inzinzac.., and ..Gun Muffs.., (to name a few). In his own time, Eli composes a variety of music on the computer, ranging from ambient and experimental ..electronic.. music to "crazy ..metal.. MIDI's" .... Below are 2 videos of Eli playing. Thanks man, that would have been nice:)
Here is my stupid mail, made when I was too young to comprehend the definision of a "cool" mail adresse:

I haven't heard KTG before like a couple of days ago, but I liked your music, and showed it to a friend of mine. We like concluded that KTG will be better of with no vocalist at all. It is a formidable task to find a good enough vocalist for this kind of music. I listened to your old stuff, and the vocals on those tracks weren't exactly good enough. It is so easy that a bad vocalist destroys songs that really are quite good. So that choice is understandable.
Will it be a long wait for more recordings from KTG?
Anyway good luck with everything!
By the way, is it possible to download Idiot City and Bumble Bee Infant from somewhere? I really like those songs, and i want them on my computer:)
Your drumming reminds me of Chris Pennie, so of course i like it:P
Idiot City and Bumble Bee Infant is killer songs! Can't wait for KTG to record a full length album with a vocalist.
Have you guys found someone that fits your demands as a vocalist?
Likewise! Keep in touch.
dude oh my god i just saw the idiot city vid the fills are nuts i had to keep rewinding to see what you were doin it was so fast man
love the flexibility in styles
i wish i was as good of a drummer as u
but ur ber cool
