Long time hipster crush, Elin Palmer of the Lee Lewis Harlots, is finally breaking out with her own heart fluttering solo album. Born in Värmland Sweden, her music roots stem back to the folk music of Sweden. Typically hired for her precision with the violin and Nyckelharpa (an ancient Swedish instrument) she is more of a “multi-instrumentalist”; even rocking out some guitar for the upcoming album.
Being a well-established working musician for years now, Elin’s new project highlights her beautiful vocal and instrumental arrangements with ethereal Scandinavian accents flavoring her own (and oh, SO refreshing) take on indie rock. Her few solo performances have already thrown her to the top of Denver’s music heap with a sellout crowd on her video release show at the Hi-dive.

...We are going to release our first album here soon...we have to make a desicion as to what label to sign on to, or if I am just going to "start" a label...press the things...The music is being mastered in Belgium right now, and will be done in a week or two..a good friend is doing this for me...He also helped Gary Isaacs... I believe with the Box of Devotchka pictures...Anyway...I am just now writing new songs, and playing live..Just wanted to say thanks, and that I'm really glad I bought the CD it is going to become a staple of what I listen to...let me know when you are going to play live, I will come down...I live in the countryside, and restore/conserve antiques for my job, born into a family of silversmiths, musicians, and joiners..(furniture makers)..of French decent...moved out here from Denver!!....All the best...Matt
