No Garlic or Chilli! You must be outta your mind. Although I have to admit, when it comes to asian food kiwis are pussies. They make a good spirulina though. Plus, you WERE in Auckland. And Lyttleton! They don't even know what a laksa is in Lyttleton! Wellington is different, of course. The cultural hub of new zealand. Go to Te Papa, I know it's cheesy but it's free and they have (had?) a massive whale there. Also go to cuba st and walk up and down and pretend that it's a bit bigger than it is. Get a bike and cycle from oriental bay right round the bays (island, Lyall etc) untill you get to Ohwhiro bay. Then go and look at the seals. Also go to Fidels cafe and drink coffee if you drink coffee. Midnight Espresso is good too, they do lots of vegan cake and they decorate them with weeds and bits of vegetable. That's all I can think of right now.
