Over the past few years, Elixr has been playing shows in Milwaukee, Madison and the surrounding area, developing a lively loyal fan base. The band has achieved a number of accomplishments over the years, including placing 3rd in the 2006 Emergenza Music Festival Competition (more than 450 bands entered) and most recently made the Top 10 on Kiss FM's Superstar Competition and ranked 4th on WISN's Milwaukee's A-List for local bands. Elixr has performed at some of Milwaukee's music hot spots such as The Rave, G'Daddy's BBC and even Summerfest.
With the release of their debut album entitled "After Hours" available for purchase at Atomic Records, Exclusive Company or by e-mailing Justin at jjuley@hotmail.com, Elixr is ready to move forward and progress deeper into Milwaukee's acoustic/rock music scene.
In the coming month's, Elixr will be "bringing it back to the basics" having a new, revitalized focus on the writing process and unique performances.
